The Holy Spirit of Life

The Holy Spirit of Life

(The River of life)

David Wilkerson

There is coming a time of unprecedented revivings from the dead.

Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

Ezekiel 47:7

Then said he unto me, Theses waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

Ezekiel 47:8

And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Ezekiel 47:9

“Everything will live there the water goes.”

(NAS)

He doesn’t go to the water to swim like you. He goes to the bank and looks back. He’s amazed. Suddenly all along the bank in both sides. Jesus spring up. Life, flower, everywhere life’s springing up. Everything the water touches turns to life.

And he is incredible. Because he sees where the water’s going to. The water’s going to the dead sea and in the dead sea nothing lives. There’s no vegetation, there’s no fish, and there’s nothing.

As soon as theses waters get there, it’s gonna heal the dead sea, and the dead sea is death itself.

Finally Jesus is gonna conquer even death by His very life. That’s the picture He’s showing. That’s the vision. That is going to finally end in victory over death itself.

But you see along with this life that’s coming there is corresponding increase of death in the last days.

Now the Scripture makes it very clear. You know this.

“The love of men are gonna wax cold the last days.”

(Matthew 24:12)

There’s a death coming to love for Christ and many. Even men’s seducton are gonna wax worse and worse. They shall be deceived. That’s gonna be the death of morals.

“There stoppers will come mocking the message of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” (2Peter 3:3-4)

And that’s the death of expectancy. There’s death everywhere. Sin will abide. False prophets will spread everywhere. You’re looking last days. There’s gonna be. That’s what AIDS is. AIDS is the modern dead sea. It’s full of death. It’s a sea of death. Multitude’re dying from AIDS from alcoholism, drugs.

All over the spiritual death’s even in many churches. And this is what this vision is trying to point out to us. In the midst of all the death and destruction of last days, He said,

“Get and rise off the death.

Don’t focus on the death.

Because rive is rising.

And that river is a river of life.

Everything that the river touches is gonna come to life.”

It appeared for many years there the church in China was dead. For many many years, for decades there was no word out of China. Nobody could get a message. Many people thought that the church was dead. But it wasn’t dead. The river was rising.

Now we understand it’d been rising and spreading life all over China.

Because the Scripture says,

“Everything will live where the river goes.”

(Ezekiel 47:9)

The river go all through China, and bring life to multitudes. The river’s still rising in China. Now the river’s slowing through Armenia, East Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czecho, Russia. Life in Jesus is springing up all over the world.

What about your household? What about your loved ones? You see spiritual death. Has it been discouraging to you? You pray. Nothing seems to happen. What my Bible says? I just read it to you. I’m gonna say it again. I’m asking you. Are you seeing it yet?

“Everywhere the river goes there will be life.”

(Ezekiel 47:9)

I don’t know how God’s gonna do it. But I tell you God in just a few months can destroy Communism. He can do everything He’s prophesying in this Book and in this vision. He can do it anythime. He can do it within a few weeks.

He can pour out the waters so quickly and spread through the city, spread through your household and be life.

“Everywhere the river goes there will be life.”

(Ezekiel 47:9)
